Delete your account

You can delete your Kotchi account and all data associated with it at any time, in the App or by email. Kotchi is operated by DNK PROJECT LLC, 2495 S Mason Rd, 1228, Katy, TX 77450, United States.

Have an active subscription? Cancel it in the store first (see below) — deleting your account does not stop store billing.

• •Open Kotchi and sign in.
• •Go to Settings → Delete account.
• •Confirm the deletion.

Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.

• •Send an email to [email protected] from the email address of your Kotchi account, with the subject "Delete my account".
• •We delete your account and data within 7 days and confirm by email.

We use your email address to make sure the request comes from the account owner. If you write from another address, we will ask you to write from the account address. If you signed in with Apple's "Hide My Email", the easiest way is to delete your account in the App.

• •Your account: name, email address and sign-in data.
• •Your profile and questionnaire answers, including health information you provided.
• •Your food diary, meal photos and voice notes, and your meal plan.
• •Weight, body measurements, steps and cycle marks.
• •Body photos and goal photos.
• •Your chat history with your coach, including voice messages, photos and files.
• •Subscription records in our systems, notification settings and push tokens.

• •A record that an account with a given internal ID was deleted, when and by whom — without your name, email or any other personal data.
• •Copies of your data in our backups, until the backups are rotated.
• •Server and error logs, which are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
• •Purchase records held by Apple or Google under their own policies — we cannot delete them.

We also keep data longer only if the law requires it, for example under a valid legal order.

You can delete individual diary entries, photos and chat messages in the App, revoke Apple Health or Health Connect access in your device settings, and hide the Cycle section. To delete other specific data, email [email protected] from your account's email address.

Billing is managed by the store, not by us:

• •App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kotchi → Cancel Subscription.
• •Google Play: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kotchi → Cancel subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
